How does WashMates work?
You book a pickup online in about 60 seconds, and a local, vetted WashMate from your neighbourhood comes to collect your laundry at the time you choose. They wash, dry, and fold everything, then deliver it back to your door.
How do I schedule a pickup?
After creating your account, it takes about 60 seconds to book. Select a pickup date and time that works for you. Orders placed before noon qualify for same-day delivery, with most same-day orders picked up and delivered back within 6 to 8 hours. If your laundry is picked up later in the day, it is usually returned the next day.
What areas do you serve?
We serve 10 cities across the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Markham, Richmond Hill, Brampton, and Oakville. We cover apartments, condos, townhouses, and houses throughout the GTA.
What do I need for my first order?
Just have your laundry gathered and ready at your door for the pickup time you selected. A hamper or basket is perfect, but you do not need to supply anything — your WashMate brings clear bags and loads your laundry into them on the spot. They will count loads on arrival and confirm the total before starting.
Pricing
How much does it cost?
WashMates charges a flat rate of $35 per load with a 2-load minimum, plus 13% HST (Ontario sales tax). There are no delivery fees, no per-pound calculations, and no surprise charges. You know exactly what you are paying before you book.
What counts as one load?
One load is roughly the amount that fills a standard washing machine. Think of it as one full laundry basket or bag. Your WashMate counts loads at pickup and confirms the total with you using our colour-coded bag system, so there is no guessing involved.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. There are no delivery surcharges, no fuel charges, no membership fees, and no tipping required. The only addition to the per-load rate is the standard 13% Ontario HST.
Do you offer discounts?
New customers can use the code FIRST10 at checkout for $10 off their first order. We occasionally run seasonal promotions and offer store credits as well.
Your Laundry
What detergent is used?
Your WashMate uses their own high-quality detergent. If you have allergies or sensitivities, you can also provide your own detergent for your WashMate to use. Just add detergent preferences to your special instructions when you book.
Can I provide my own detergent?
Yes. You can provide your own detergent for your WashMate to use. Just leave it out with your laundry and add a note in your order instructions so your WashMate knows to use it.
Will my clothes get mixed with other people's laundry?
Never. Your laundry stays with your assigned WashMate from pickup to delivery and is never mixed with anyone else's. We use a colour-coded system to track each load, even when a WashMate is handling multiple orders.
What if something gets damaged?
If an item is damaged or lost during the wash process, contact us at [email protected] right away. Please report any issues within 24 hours of delivery. We take every report seriously and work with you and your WashMate to resolve the issue, including compensation where appropriate. We are not liable for normal wear and tear, damage to prohibited items, or items not listed in the order.

Do you offer same-day delivery?
Yes. Orders placed before noon qualify for same-day service. Most same-day orders are picked up and delivered back within 6 to 8 hours. If your laundry is picked up later in the day, it is usually returned the next day.
What if no WashMate is available in my area?
If no WashMate can accept your order for the time slot you selected, we will let you know so you can choose a different time. You are never charged until a WashMate confirms your order. We are actively growing our network across the Greater Toronto Area.
Can I cancel an order?
You can cancel an order up to 2 hours before your scheduled pickup at no charge. If a WashMate has already accepted your order, fees may apply. Check your order status in your dashboard for details.
What if I am not home for delivery?
You can leave delivery instructions when you book, such as "leave at front door" or "with concierge." Your WashMate provides photo verification at pickup and delivery, so you always know where your laundry is.

How do I become a WashMate?
Sign up on our website, complete our approval process, and you can start accepting orders on your own schedule. It typically takes 24 hours to get approved. You will need access to a washer and dryer, either your own machines or a nearby laundromat.
How much can I earn as a WashMate?
WashMates keep 80% of every service fee. At $35 per load, that is $28 per load in your pocket. Most WashMates treat it as flexible side income, working from home on their own time with no set hours or shifts required.
